New Years Diet Program For 6 Months?(I just want to say, before I start. That a few years ago, I was mxeretely overweight. I stuck to a random routine I made for myself And it worked. Within 3-4 months I lost 20 pounds, it was incredible. But the problem is, that was a few years ago, and I tried doing it again, but have failed.)Hi, I want to start a new diet for myself, after 3 years of not dieting or exercising right. To give you a slight insight:1) Weight = 125KG or 250 pounds.2) Age = 19 / Male4) Under House Arrest5) Limited to my bedroom only. (sometimes the stairs when no ones home)Now, I am under house arrest (don't ask) for 6 months. Also, 6 months later I will be going on holiday. What better to do then try to get into shape for the first time. Please note, that I can't move around the house much, and I was aiming to do around 30 minutes of exercise a day, because I know myself And I'm lazy. If I push myself far enough, I will quit.Currently, I run up and down a flight of 10 stairs 30-40 times a day. (300-400 steps.) I also have weights that I can lift. I currently lift on them around 75-100 times a day.Is this a good routine to stick too? Around 30 minutes a day? What else would you suggest that I should fit into the 30 minutes a day that is easy? Would I be able to loose 20KG at the end of the 6 months? (around 50 pounds)

It's hard to say if diet and exercise alone would lower your blood asrugs enough to avoid metformin and/or insulin. It would depend on what your levels without it would be. I do know that your body's need for insulin will more than likely increase as you progress through your trimesters.I would speak to your doctor about this and explain how strongly you feel, if you are keeping a record of your results and keeping a tite control he may allow it, as long as your blood sugar levels are as normal as possible. This is going to take a lot of hard work, I was testing upto 12 times a day everyday, just before and 2hrs after each meal, at bedtime, during the night and in the morning. Keep in mind that metformin could help if you really don't want to use insulin.I know it's hard, I hope you are able to get there without the insulin.Good Luck

it takes 21 days for habits to form, and that's what you want to try to do is make tnihgs a habit. For diet, what I like to do is replace or eliminate one bad food item per week over a course of several weeks. Set yourself some goals and even write them down. This way, you don't end up missing tnihgs so much. Allow yourself one cheat day per week, going easy on the portions but having something to treat yourself. For exercise, start out slow and work your way up. This will get your mind and body used to the stress of exercise, and if you start out going for short workouts, it's not so bad. You'll likely be sore the first week, but if you go slow enough it won't be bad. If you go full tilt then it will be bad and you risk injury. Depending on what you decide to do, use this time to learn how to do the exercise well. As you advance, then you can start increasing the time and intensity of the workout. The idea is to always be improving as your body adapts. The focus should always be making health and fitness part of your lifestyle rather than an end result. This is the only way anyone will ever stick with it over the long-term. Take your time with it, improve on tnihgs as time goes by, have patience and be diligent and results will come. When it's part of your lifestyle, tnihgs just fall into place and it doesn't seem so forced, if that makes sense. The most helpful thing will be education. Learning what works and what doesn't, what foods you are actually eating (especially when you eat out but also what you pick up at the store) and the effects they have on you, the different macronutrients, how to perform exercises to the best benifit and other tricks are all what's needed. There is a lot of misinformation out there so learning for yourself what works is key.Good luck!

You cannot take Metformin while pgnerant!!! You can try to keep the glucose levels down with just food planning and exercise, but life is so much simpler with insulin to help. What the doctor is aiming at is a very healthy baby and mother when the pregnancy is over!!Ok, now change your whole lifestyle!! Because if you are GD you are at very much higher risk of developing full type 2 diabetes later in life.Think of me as your Nana telling you how to live your life!!Start with the low carb lifestyle, Atkins phase 2, South Beach phase 2, Zone Diet, all will assist you to become a very healthy good mother. These food plans are very good to instill in your daughters also. They will be at a much higher risk for diabetes as well.Come on!! Pricking your fingers every day sometimes hurts, but taking an injection doesn't hurt that much! You will be able to have more variety in food planning than if you flat out refuse to consider the insulin.Come through this pregnancy healthy and happy and have a healthy baby!! That is the name of the game! If it takes insulin, well it takes insulin.Good luck, little one!!!

If it is one of those electro-impedence deeicvs. be very wary. (the handheld device.) Just drinking a glass of water can cause a 6-7% fluctuation. They are only supposed to be used before working out and when you haven't eaten or drank anything in several hours. I used to work at a gym and we would play with it- trying to see how much range we could create.

As an Algebra I teacher I love the alpha fareute of the graphing calculator. Freshmen love texting as I am sure that other grade levels do as well. So, with the policy set in place about the prohibited use of cell phones in the classroom, I have taken advantage of the alpha fareute. I have students type questions about specific problems and pass them to each other for possiblea0solutions. Thisa0worked excellent on homework review as well as quiz days.I have also used the graphing calculator to reinforce number sense. As funny as it sounds students always struggle with the use of fractions, mixed numbers, and the use of decimals. So, I create very complex arithmetic problemsa0in which the student must insert parenthesis and so on to solve.a0a0And, last but not least,a0I have also used the graphing calculator along with my lesson on Parent Functions. Students are givena0four hand outs: (1) Graphs, (2) Function Rules, (3) Tables, and (4) Various uses of the functions in question. I mix up the graphs, function rules, and tables, and have the students use their calculators to match the functions with their respectful graph and table. After the activity, they are to continue completing individual graphs and tables for thea0fourth handout.a0

Don't go on a fad diet. They DON'T work. The best diet that has worked for me is to eat less and move more. Even if it is tkanig a 30 minute walk every night..you are still moving.Just eat healthy. You don't have to go completely organic and stick to salads, chicken, fruits, and veggies. There are lots of healthy foods out there. 97% fat free hot dogs and a whole wheat hot dog bun isn't what most people would define as eating healthy, but it isn't fatty and fits into my diet so I eat it.Buy a gym membership. If you can't do that then simply start jogging in the morning, or go for a 45 minute morning walk or hike. What is great about doing that is you can do it with your daughter. Put her in a stroller and go walking or jogging with her. Or have someone watch her and go on a hike with a friend. You can also ride a bike, swim, or jump rope. There are so many ways of being active and it is actually really fun. Buy dumbbells and other exercise equipment and tapes if you can't go to a gym. Here is a diet plan:Eat 1,500 calories, 35 grams of fat (as little of saturated fat (the bad fat) as possible..and ZERO trans fat), about 200 grams of healthy carbs, and lots of protein. Your body burns about 1,200 calories a day just living. The number goes up when you start getting active. So if you start moving around more you will burn more than you consume.Don't go on a low carb diet. Your body NEEDS carbs..they are your bodies main source of fuel. Want to know why people lose so much weight so fast on a low carb diet? Because they are losing water weight not fat. When they eat a normal diet they will gain all that weight back. Eat complex carbs from whole wheat products, fruits, and vegetables. You can have sugar on a diet but try to restrict it as much as possible. Try to get only about 10 grams of granulated sugar in a day. Don't worry about natural sugar from dairy products, fruits, and vegetables. After a few weeks of losing weight (like when you hit a 15 pound weight loss mark) you could start having a splurge day once a week where you eat something you are craving. Most people do this because it is motivating, it doesn't affect your weight if it is just one day, and it helps keep you from binging.Make yummy healthy food. SparkRecipes has a lot of good healthy recipes..they also have the nutrition facts included with them. You can replace a lot of things with healthy options. Fat free milk and cheese instead of the full fat version. Egg beaters or egg whites (egg beaters taste better) instead of eggs. Fat free cream cheese and whole wheat bagels instead of full fat cream cheese and regular bagels. Look around at the grocery store and you will see that there are lots of healthy options. You don't need to do some ridiculous diet like low-carb, pickle diet, grape fruit diet, etc..Just move more and eat healthy. Having a healthy lifestyle can be fun. I hope I helped Good luck!

Wii Fit is a solid entry in the fitness genre for the Wii. The range of rxeecises, from easy to hard, can provide a framework for a daily workout routine that will pay off for players who invest in it.Wii Fit offers four categories of rxeecises, including Yoga, Muscle Training, Aerobics,Aerobics includes Hula Hoop and Basic Step, and Balance Games include Soccer Heading and Ski Slalom. The Aerobics rxeecises are great for consistent movement for the whole body. Hula Hoop will require players to sway their hips and catch additional hoops. Players can go on a virtual jog in Basic Run. Without the Balance Board, players simple hold or pocket the Wii Remote to jog in a beautiful landscape among Mii friends. There's also the 2 People Run option for two-player jogs.
